Description

Terrabond CP, is a highly advanced acrylic based primer filled with micro silica sand which bonds strongly to most building substrates including fairfaced concrete to enhance adhesion of surface for gypsum plaster, cement plaster or adhesives. By forming a textured and solid surface, it strengthens the adherence of shinny and low absorption rates of concrete surfaces. It prevents rapid water loss of the plaster to be applied and formation of cracks in connection.

The aqueous, acrylic based Terrabond CP product has the following properties:

Deeply penetrates to the surface
By creating a textured surface it enhances adherence
Breathable
It is water resistant
Does not contain toxic substances

AREAS OF USE

For exterior and interior use on ceilings, concrete and gypsum plaster walls with poor adhesion or for use to increase adhesion purposes between normal plasters.

PREPARATION OF SURFACE

Ensure that dust, dirt and foreign substances are cleaned off of the application surface. Also ensure that the surface does not contain salt, oil, grease substances and does not have any loose or defective areas. Mask off jointing areas not to be covered.

APPLICATION

Terrabond CP is to be thinned 50% by weight with water, depending on the surface condition it may be applied with a roller once or a few times. The surface and ambient temperature should not be below +5°C Wash tools with water thoroughly after application.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Avoid prolong contact with eyes and skin. Flush eyes with water, holding eye lids apart and seek medical attention. Keep away from children. For more information refer to relevant material data safety sheet.

PACKING & STORAGE

errabond CP is supplied in 15 KG plastic pails. Store containers away from direct sunlight, extreme heat and cold in a clean and dry area. Unopened containers can be stored for 12 months. Use oldest material first.
