S4Prime BP 40 is a high-quality, bitumen emulsion-based primer designed for enhancing adhesion prior to the application of bitumen-based waterproofing materials. This single-component primer is easy to apply and does not require heating or thinning. It forms a durable, non-porous coat that enhances bonding strength, ensuring optimal adhesion between the concrete surface and waterproofing membrane. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, it is ideal for foundation walls, basement floors, terraces, balconies, and other surfaces that require waterproofing.

🛠️ Application Instructions:
- The surface must be clean and dry before application. Remove any dust, dirt, grease, or loose materials that might affect adhesion.
- For concrete surfaces, ensure that the compressive strength is at least 25 N/mm², and moisture content does not exceed 4%.
- Use a low-speed mixer to ensure the primer is mixed thoroughly before use.
- Apply with a roller brush or a brush, ensuring the surface is completely covered with a non-porous layer.
- If necessary, apply two coats of primer, allowing the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat.
⚠️ Warnings:
- Do not apply in weather conditions below +5°C or above +35°C, or in rainy or windy weather.
- Do not apply on wet, high humidity, or frozen surfaces, or surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours.
- After application, protect the surface from rain, snow, or water for 24 hours to ensure proper curing.
🧽 Cleaning & Storage:
- Clean equipment with solvent immediately after use. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
- Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from frost, between +5°C and +30°C. Ensure proper storage to avoid damage to packaging.
- Shelf life is 12 months from the production date when stored under appropriate conditions.
