Description
PROPERTIES
- Single component, easy to apply
- Resistant to weather conditions and UV radiation
- Can be overpainted
- Does not contain solvent and isocyanate, long life, does not lose volume and mass
- Permanently elastic
- Tolerates movements in the joints and protects its isolation and adhesion properties thanks to its high modulus
- Does not cause bubble after application that may be caused by damp surfaces
- Excellent adhesion to many building materials
APPLICATION AREAS
- In sealing and bonding application both in outdoor and indoor
- In floor joints
- In ship and boat yards
- On metal substrates as car body and containers
- Fixing window steps, skirting boards and door fillets.

SURFACE PREPARATION
- Ensure that all surfaces intended for contact with the sealant are clean, dry, and free from oil, dust, and rust
- Any existing sealant on the surfaces must be removed using mechanical methods
- Use masking tape to outline the application area. Remove the tape immediately after the application is complete
- For certain surfaces, a primer may be necessary to enhance adhesion. Ensure the appropriate primer is selected for the specific application
JOINT DESIGN
- The minimum joint width for bonding should range from 2 mm to 10 mm
- Joint widths should fall between 6 mm and 20 mm
- For joints with a width of up to 12 mm, the depth-to-width ratio is 1:1, with a minimum of 6 mm for both dimensions. For joints wider than 12 mm, the depth should be half the width
- Use a polyethylene backer rod to control the sealant depth, achieve the desired joint profile, and prevent three-sided adhesion
APPLICATION METHOD
- Insert the cartridge into the application gun
- Apply the sealant in a continuous motion, moving in one direction, with sufficient pressure to fully fill and seal the joint
- The product’s smooth consistency makes dry tooling the recommended technique
- Remove the masking tape after application
- Clean any excess sealant from the surfaces immediately. Once cured, the sealant can only be removed mechanically
WARNING
- This product should not be used in enclosed areas, as it cures through exposure to atmospheric humidity
- While it can be overpainted, the paint may crack if the joint undergoes movement
- Surfaces that release oil, solvents, or plasticizers may experience a loss of adhesion over time
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
- Store the product in its sealed packaging, in a cool, dry environment, at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C
- The shelf life is 15 months from the production date
SAFETY INFORMATION
- Contains trace amounts of volatile chemicals. Ensure the application area is well-ventilated if used indoors
- Avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured sealant, as it may cause irritation
- For detailed information, refer to the safety data sheet (SDS)
